These plans will show you how to build two different "antique-like" chest reproductions. One is a flat top and the other is a round top chest. The dimensions for these two designs are from antique sources, but the materials and hardware were selected for ease of construction and availability. Build one or both! Either one makes a great accent piece or a unique storage chest for blankets, linen, etc.
Features: Plans include different options for pull out trays, fabric linings and outside coverings. Make mostly from 3/4" plywood and slat lumber. Round top chest is trimmed in leather or naugahyde. Both lids are hinged.
Size: Flat-top chest is 36 in. long by 18 in. deep by 16 in. tall
Round-top chest measures 30 in. long by 18 in. deep by 21 in. tall.
Plans Include: Detailed step-by-step instructions, full-size traceable patterns (where needed), in-progress photos, exploded diagrams and complete materials lists and cutting schedules.
Skill Level: Moderate to advanced woodworking skills required.
