A great project to build for a toddler's first sled! Is there a better holiday gift than dashing through the snow with a small child in tow? You will have as much fun building this project as the kids will have riding on this winning design. This also makes a good project for a Christmas holiday decoration, complete with stuffed Santa and wrapped gifts!
Features: Make from birch and walnut, but other woods work well, too. Removable (and optional) wrap-around seat. Plans call for "wood-burning" for the snowflake designs. Leather hand grip for tow rope.
Size: 40in. long by 15in. wide.
Plans Include: Detailed step-by-step instructions, full-size traceable patterns for most parts and decorative snowflake designs, in-progress photos, project tips / suggestions and complete materials lists and cutting schedules.
Skill Level: Basic woodworking skills required.
NOTE: This sled, when built, is NOT steer-able and requires adult supervision at all times. This design is intended as a pull behind sled only!
