What is included with each set of How-to Plans?
This depends on how complex the project is. Some plan sets include CAD drawings, 3D drawings, step-by-step photos, parts lists and material sources while the more basic plans might not include as much. Be assured, however, that we will send you the information needed to finish a project.

Will my finished project look exactly like the photo?
Chances are, No! There are many reasons why your finished project will probably not look the same as the photo, or (for that matter) like anyone else's project. Let's face it, you would not even be looking at this site if you weren't creative! This makes you (and I) a thinker, problem solver, experimenter, rule-bender and above all, an improviser! To improvise is to "make, provide, or do with whatever is at hand".
You might be half-way through a project and say to yourself: "I need to buy some steel pipe to make this part ... or .... maybe I can use what I already have and make it work .....?
Yes you can follow the plans exactly and come very, very close to the original concept ... but then again you might use different wheels, paint or materials. After all, we're not building the space shuttle! These plans have room for variations so that your finished project will be somewhat unique.
The photos are for reference to give you a visual idea of the project.

What are the main differences between "basic skills", "moderate skills" and "advanced skills" types of plans?
First of all, there is no such thing as a "simple, you-can-do-this-in-one-Saturday-afternoon" project! No Such Thing! If you want to do anything, you might as well do it right, Which means, that you have to take your time, pay attention to details and use the right equipment/machines.
You're probably wondering what all this has to do with the skill level of each project? Actually alot because everyone has different levels of skill with each type of craft. Example: Someone who has been welding for 30 years might have a hard time making an awning because of the sewing involved yet would find the awning frame a very east project. Just remember, you can always have someone else help you with parts of a project (sewing, welding, torch cutting, machining, etc).
So terms such as basic, moderate and advanced are only for reference guides. Only you can decide if a project is right for you.

I am looking for a certain set of plans and I can't find anything about it. Can you find a project for me?
Maybe!. Send us an e-mail with your requests and we will do our best to find plans for your project. We have a database of hundreds of how-to plans. Why aren't we selling all these plans on our site? Currently we are developing many new plans, and many of our plans are still in the testing process. And some plans we aren't even sure if anyone would be interested in them! So if you are looking for some type of plan, contact us .... we might be able to help you!
