Sheet Metal Bending Brake Plans (18in.)
$6.95

These how-to plans will show you how to build this light/medium duty bending brake that will handle sheet metal up to 18" wide and 18ga. (aprox 1/16") thickness. Thicker metal can be bent in shorter widths or using softer metals. This is a handy little bending brake that can be made in a weekend. You will find many uses, from making small metal boxes, pans, trays, belt guards and chutes, to repair panels for body work, brackets, hangers, etc. Can also be used to bend wire for hooks, hangers, crafts, modeling, etc.

Features:  Adjustable for different metal thickness and bending radius (sharp or smooth bends). No exotic hard-to-find parts or special machining required! This project uses common metal shapes and hardware that most of us have laying around the shop!

Size:  Aprox. 22in. long by 5in. deep by 10in. tall (including handles)

Plans Include:  Step by step instructions, parts list and detailed CAD drawings (lots of 3D drawings!).

Skill Level:  Requires basic mechanical ability and welding skills.
